[Rants] One Ok Moriuchi

Just yesterday I made an update about a certain former NEWS member (Kusano Hironori) and I receive a mixture of comment about it, some good and some are well, better left unsaid. Continuing my search about former members of NEWS (since the current group themselves are lacking any news and updates on their side), I found another former member who left the group a little bit earlier than Kusano and Uchi.

Moriuchi Takahiro was a part of NEWS in the most of 2003 and then moved on to another group Chivary of Music after he left Johnny’s and NEWS. In 2005, he became a member of a rock band called ONE OK ROCK until now. I don’t know much about their music as J-Rock is not really my kind of music right now, but from what I heard, their sound is appraisable.

Not only he changed his group, he also changed his name. Yes my lovelies, his name. He is now called Morita Takahiro or better known as Taka by his group mates and fans. His cute and innocent appearance in NEWS is replaced by a more matured and rockish appearance.

A bit about ONE OK ROCK, it originally consist of five people but then one of the member left in May of 2009 after he was arrested on groping charges (he would be kicked out if he was in Johnny’s). Now, ONE OK ROCK is a four member group consist of Taka, Toru, Ryota and Tomoya.
